Do not be foolish
“Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.”
The apostle Paul exhorts us to pay attention to our conduct, to watch not to act as unwise but as wise (vv 15-26). The foolish man is the one who does not think, is careless and indifferent to solicitations, and does not care to fight nor to do good. Instead the wise man is the one who knows he is on this earth to live a life that bears witness to the Lord Jesus. That’s why we have to take the opportunity, making up time, using the time wisely and never waste it on useless things. On this basis comes the warning not to be careless, unwise and to understand the Lord’s will. How can we do it? We can grab it, feel it, see with mind and understand through the Scripture and the guide of the Spirit. So here is the solution: “Be filled with the Spirit”. Then we’ll have a singing, grateful and respectful spirit. May everyone pray along with the psalmist: “Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground” (Psalm 143:10).
I think the believers should not allow to blogs, tweets or status update to become their main theological source or spiritual contribution. Likewise I don’t agree with that guessing games like: “What does God have to tell you? What future has God stored for you?”. I’m sorry if someone can be offended (it’s the love who drives me and this i want), but i believe these games denote a spiritual superficiality, the beginning of non-biblical rituals, so increasing the curiosity for the game and also spreading wrong tools for free. Just to have fun you’re delivering your approval to poke around into your life. If you love yourself and want to know God’s plan for your life, you dedicate time to read and meditate on His Word. “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans” (Proverbs 13:6).
